Played shortstop and second base for the Lakers in 2008 and batted .197 as a rookie. Maynard helped lead Marquette High School to its first Division I district softball title in school history in 2007. She batted .343 with 12 extra-base hits and 24 RBIs, and had a .957 fielding average as a shortstop. She was a four-year varsity letter winner and earned all-district honors in 2007. She is the daughter of Bill Maynard. Major: nursing.
