Lakers fall to Rollins
WINTER PARK, Fla. - Rollins improved to 14-2 by beating the Lake Superior State softball team 12-0 and 13-0 on Monday.
Rollins pitcher Rachel Foster pitched a no-hitter in the first game against the Lakers, while Jillian Willette (1-2) took the loss.
LSSU's Lacey Knoop, Chevie Peralta-Everts, Helena Zandarski, Nicole Carstensen and Nikki Christensen had hits in the second game. Nikki Christensen and Nicole Carstensen pitched the combined loss for LSSU.
The Lakers (3-5) return to Rebel Spring Games action Tuesday against Northwood (Fla.) at 9:00 a.m. and Edinboro at 11:00 a.m. in Kissimmee, Fla.
