Lakers wrap up seven-game series against GVSU

ALLENDALE - Lake Superior State concluded its seven-game series with Grand Valley State with 1-0 and 7-4 losses in Allendale on Monday.

Grand Valley State (27-8 overall, 7-3 GLIAC) and LSSU were tied 3-3 through four innings of Game 2. GVSU broke the game open with one run in the fifth inning and three in the sixth.

Knoop was 2-for-3 with a double and a stolen base, and Hall had two singles. Lorrie Chaperon, Helena Zandarski, Nicole Carstensen and Chelsea Maynard added one hit each.
