LSSU's starting catcher has a career average of .276 with 97 hits, 58 RBIs and 12 home runs. Dunford was named GLIAC Freshman of the Year in 2007 after compiling 30 hits, including eight home runs, which ranked sixth in the conference. She was a four-year starting catcher with a .423 batting average and .563 on-base percentage for L'Anse Creuse North High School. She received All-Macomb Area Conference White Division, MAC All-Academic and Division 1 all-state honors as a prep athlete. She is the daughter of Paul and Mary Dunford. Major: sociology.
