Kern has started in 112 of 125 games and has a career fielding average of .979 through three seasons. She earned Division II all-state honors in 2006 after batting .445 and totaling 45 hits with 28 RBI's for Clio High School. She is a three time All-Big Nine selection. Kern also lettered in tennis. She is the daughter of Chris and Angie Kern. Major: Education.
