Prep: Maxon batted .658 as a senior in 2010 and posted an impressive career batting average of .603 for Munising High School. During her senior campaign, she totaled 16 doubles, three triples, six home runs and 31 RBIs. She earned Division 4 all-state honorable mention. She also earned All-Upper Peninsula recognition in track and basketball, and lettered in tennis.
