Lomacka and Juan-Alladio win GLIAC quarterfinals No. 1 doubles match

MIDLAND - Weronika Lomacka and Gaby Juan-Alladio defeated Northwood's Ashley Neumann and Roberta Huetter 9-8 at No. 1 doubles for Lake Superior State's lone win during the quarterfinal round of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Tournament.

Lomacka and Juan-Alladio won the tie-breaker, 7-4. Northwood, which is the top seed in the tournament, defeated No. 8 seed LSSU, 5-1, and advanced in the winner's bracker. With the loss, the Lakers (4-8) dropped into the tournament's consolation bracket.
