Pflieger and Wiethoff post No. 3 doubles win against GVSU

SAULT STE. MARIE - Freshmen Ingrid Pflieger and Erin Wiethoff won their No. 3 doubles match, 8-4, to post Lake Superior State's lone victory during Saturday's women's tennis match against Grand Valley State.

The Lakers, who dropped the team decision, 8-1, fell to 1-4 overall and 0-4 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. GVSU improved to 2-0 overall and 2-0 in the GLIAC.

LSSU continues a four-match homestand at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3, against Wayne State.
