Women's tennis team wins 9-0 over Spring Arbor

SPRING ARBOR - The Lake Superior State women's tennis team swept Spring Arbor in its season opener, 9-0, during a non-conference match Thursday. Senior Carolyn Pumford and junior Molly Magoon won a tie-breaker 7-4 to claim a No. 3 doubles victory.

LSSU is now 1-0 overall. The Lakers play host to Saginaw Valley State at 1 p.m. on Sept. 11.  This will be the first home match of the season.
