Lake State women's tennis falls to Wayne State
DETROIT - The Lake Superior State women's tennis team lost to Wayne State, 8-1, Friday in Detroit.
Sophomore Ingrid Pflieger (Grossaitingen, Germany), at No. 2 singles, was the Lakers only victor. Pflieger won in a thrird-set tiebreaker, 4-6, 6-4, (10-5), defeating Wayne State's Milena Vuksanovic.
The Lakers are now 2-5 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and 3-5 overall this season. They play at Findlay at 10 a.m. Saturday.
