Lakers lose last match in Florida
ORLANDO, Fla. - Lake Superior State women's tennis lost its last match of the Florida Trip, 6-3, to Saint Leo Friday.
No. 2 doubles Katie Watchorn (Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.) and Anais Molina-Rodriguez (Pueblo Libre, Lima, Peru) defeated Saint Leo, 8-6. Watchorn won at No. 5 singles, 3-6, 6-4, and 10-3. Carolyn Pumford (Bannister, Mich.) was the only other Laker to win, 6-1, 6-4, at No. 3 singles.
LSSU is now 8-13 overall.
