Nationally ranked Grand Valley sweeps Lake State
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Lake Superior State falls to No. 15 Grand Valley State on the road. The Lakers are now 7-3 overall and 2-3 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Senior Adrienne DiVito (Washington, Mich.) went into a third set tie-breaker at No. 1 singles. Grand Valley defeated DiVito 6-7, 7-5, 10-8.
Holly Daniel took her first loss at No. 5 singles for the Lakers this season. Daniel was defeated by GVSU 6-1, 6-2.
The Lakers continue road play Sept. 24 at Hillsdale, match time is set for 11 a.m.
