Laker women's tennis team splits first two decisions in Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Lake Superior State women's tennis team defeated Emory & Henry 6-3 on Thursday and lost 6-3 to Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras on Friday.
The Lakers, who are on a spring break trip during their non-traditional season, play Mount St. Mary's at noon today.
Megan LaMothe was 2-0 at No. 1 singles, while Weronika Lomacka, Gaby Juan-Alladio, Anais Molina-Rodriquez and Katie Watchorn were 1-1.
LaMothe and Lomacka were also 2-0 at No. 1 doubles, winning 8-1 and 8-3. Juan-Alladio and Molina-Rodriquez were 1-1 at No. 2.
