LaMothe picks up another singles win, improves to 53-24

SAN LANDO, Fla. - Lake Superior State was trailing St. Cloud State 6-1 Friday when it had to stop its final match during last week's spring break trip to Florida. The Lakers, who were scheduled to return to Sault Ste. Marie that day, attempted to make up the match, which was rained out on March 4.

LSSU senior Megan LaMothe won her singles match, 6-3, 7-6 (7-1), and improved her career record to 53-24 (.688). She is 10-6 this season with all matches played at the No. 1 position.

The Lakers have tentative matches scheduled for March 22 against Saginaw Valley State and Wayne State.
