Newberry receives All-GLIAC Honorable Mention

BAY CITY - Lake Superior State sophomore libero Brittany Newberry received All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Honorable Mention in volleyball.

Newberry led the GLIAC and is ranked sixth nationally in average digs per game at 5.69. She totaled a team-high 528 digs this year, which ranks fourth on LSSU's single-season list.

Saginaw Valley State's Kait Harris was named the GLIAC's Most-Valuable Player, while Ashland's Brittany Snider was named Freshman of the Year. Hillsdale's Sydney Dow (Libero of the Year) and Chris Gravel (Coach of the Year) received the league's top awards.
