GLIAC announces 2011 pre-season volleyball polls
BAY CITY, Mich. – The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced the 2011 pre-season volleyball poll.
Northern Michigan leads the North Division by two points over Grand Valley State, while Hillsdale tops the South. Lake Superior State is picked to finish sixth in the North Division.
During the 2010 season, Hillsdale won the GLIAC regular-season and tournament titles.
The Lakers begin the 2011 campaign Sept. 2 against Upper Iowa during the Ferris State Tournament in Big Rapids, Mich.
